TORONTO, April 5, 2018: Those in the Greater Toronto Area are likely to be able to see TV coverage of today’s launch of the Canadian Tire Trophy for the 2018 Toronto Mayor’s School Cricket championships that took place inside the sports dome of Central Technical School this morning. Videographers and camera operators from several TV stations attended the launch. One Toronto City Councillor was certain that coverage of Toronto Mayor John Tory being bowled would feature in media coverage. So a picture of Mayor Tory hearing those words from Councillor Chin Lee and the reaction of other guests of honour brings a different view to what may be featured elsewhere. One of the guests of honour managed to be out hit wicket to consecutive balls in the “participaction” phase before the formal speeches and presentation of awards for the 2017 CIMA Mayor’s School Cricket Championships in Toronto.
