Over 50 World Cup- another loss

On Friday (November 30, 2018), Pakistan beat Canada by 106 runs in the Over-50’s World Cup in a game originally slated for Thursday. The heavy rains on Wednesday caused Thursday’s games in the Over-50s World Cup to be pushed back to Friday. The originally scheduled grounds were committed to club matches on Friday and Saturday, as were some of the volunteers involved in the Over-50s tournament. As a result there was only a live scorecard for one of Friday’s four matches.

Pakistan Over-50s 4/242 (45 overs; Shahid Anwar 112, Dastgir Butt 64*) beat Canada Over-50s 9/135 (45 overs; Vishan de Mel 33) by 106 runs.
