“A dibbly-dopply, googly or even a yorker might be pitched by that off-spinner in a new sports park coming to northeast London.

The Kilally Fields Sports Park is taking shape in the area of Adelaide and Windermere roads, and along with two new baseball diamonds, it will feature a cricket pitch.

“We have been lobbying for this for some time,” said Sean Mitchell, manager of the London Cricket Club, one of three clubs in the city that boast five teams among them.

“The more we have, the better. We are happy about this.”
