Cricket Canada have hired Monty Desai as head coach- as announced on their web page.
Desai was head coach for Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals from 2008 to 2013, then continued as a batting coach for three more years (the team was then suspended due to anti-corruption concerns).
He has completed Level 3 coaching and has worked as a batting coach with Afghanistan and Nepal. most recently, he was head coach of the Andhra Pradesh State cricket team.
