Numerous sources are reporting a media release from the Global T20 organizers, announcing that the Global T20 will start this year on July 25 with a match between the Vancouver Knights and Toronto Nationals. Twenty two matches are planned, held in Toronto (venue unknown).
The “marquee” players will be announced over the next few weeks, but CC President Ranjit Saini in his address to the nation on Facebook suggested that they will include bigger names than last year. He also indicated that playing elevens will have to include at least one Canadian registered player.
