Toronto & District Junior Playoffs Continue

Toronto (1 September, 2019): The opening balls have been bowled in the Toronto and District Cricket Association’s (TDCA) Under-16 Junior semi-final between United Cricket Academy U16s (batting) against Australasia U16s (bowling) at Ross Lord Park. Oakville Cricket Academy U16s and Qasra U16s meet in the other semi-final, also at Ross Lord Park. Semi-final action switches to Eglinton Flats for the noon TDCA Under-12 semi-final between Ontario Cricket Academy U12s and Cardinals U12s and the 4pm semi-final between Vaughan U12 and Australasia U12s.

Centurions Under-18s and Australasia Cricket Academy Under-18s each won semi-finals on Saturday to reach the TDCA Under-18 Final, to be played at Ross Lord Park on Labour Day Monday (2 September 2018). The U18 final has a scheduled start time of 8,30am. In Saturday’s semi-finals, Oakville Academy U18s was all out for 77 (19.5 overs) and lost by 9 wickets to Australasia U18, who struck 78 runs for the loss of 1 wicket from 10.1 overs.

The TDCA has confirmed the Under-18 finalists and also confirmed, via facebook, that Monday’s Under-14 Final is between United Cricket Academy U14s and Qasra U14s. (EN)
