The Toronto and District Cricket Association is inviting academies and clubs with junior teams to register their team or teams in the various age- groups so the chance for young players to participate in Junior Cricket this season. Competitions will operate during most of August 2020 but clubs and academies must register their teams either today (Tuesday, August 4, 2020) or tomorrow (Wednesday, August 5, 2020).
Schedules will then be compiled and released on “on Friday August 7th.”
The “TDCA Youth Season 2020″ post, which currently displays on the home page of the T&DCA website states:
“Toronto and District Cricket Association (we) are inviting all our Academies to participate in upcoming Season 2020. Given the short season, we need your prompt action as the season shall begin on August 8th and will span next 5 or 6 weeks depending upon the number of teams in each age group. Last date for Registration is Wednesday August 5th. Schedules will be out on Friday August 7th.”
The actual T& DCA facebook post ends with a link through which junior teams of member cricket academies and clubs can register to play in whichever age group or age groups.

Cricket Ontario Inviting Registrations for U16 and U18 Tournaments
Cricket Ontario has a restricted access website invitation for junior players to register for Ontario Regional Championships at Under-16 and Under-19 that will, presumably, be scheduled for dates later this August 2020.
The challenges and restrictions arising from the Covid-19 Emergency meant Cricket Ontario’s winter high performance camps came to a sudden, government imposed end, as did much of “ordinary day-to-day life”.
