Alberta plays the MCC today (Wednesday July 18th, 2012) as the MCC moves eastwards after matches in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia last weekend. Cricket Alberta named a squad for this match, which is said to be taking place at Westwinds Cricket Ground, Calgary. Canadian international all-rounder Khurram Chohan has been named captain, with international batsman/wicketkeeper Hamza Tariq named as vice-captain. Sudeepta Aurka and Farhan Malik were named in the Canada Under-18 squad that took part in the recent ICC Americas junior camp in Florida.
