The Nugget has a brief story and pictures of North Bay’s first ever cricket match. The North Bay Multicultural Cricket Club, which has grown to 16 players who practise regularly twice per week, also teamed up with members of the Sudbury Cricket Club to offer instruction to the public before the match started.
A league first formed in Sudbury in 2009 has grown to four teams and the North Bay squad plans to travel for a return match next month.
