In its 25th anniversary year, the Meraloma Cricket Club won the BCMCL Elite division regular season, the BCMCL play-offs and the Tomalin Cup.
The finals of the BCMCL were played on September 13th against Meraloma CC and Abbotsford CC. Meraloma CC won by 23 runs in a very low scoring match. The Tomalin Cup is played each year between the winner from the British Columbia Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL) and the Victoria and District Cricket League (VDCA). The winner represents BC at the next Western John Ross Robertson. Meraloma CC travelled to the beautiful Beacon Hill Park in Victoria to take on Saanich CC. Meraloma CC won by 113 runs lead by Dan Brennan with 81 runs and 3 wickets.
