Canada responded well to their one-sided defeat in the first warm-up match with a good win over Ireland. Captain Abraash Khan hit an unbeaten 93 to lead his team to a four-wicket win. Thursaanth Anantharajah provided good support with 46. Ireland had made a strong start, reaching 88 without loss. Kurt Ramdath’s left arm spin proved highly effective, as he broke the opening stand and ran through the middle order, taking five for 24. Ireland were bowled out for 197, and thanks to Khan, Canada reached the target with 8 balls to spare
