Canada Cricket Online is not the official site of Cricket Canada. It aims to provide a forum for other views of cricket in Canada, focussing on the grass roots of the game, although still providing coverage of the national team. We encourage discussion and debate about the direction of Canadian cricket, and aim to provide resources that further that aim.
The site was started by Jon Harris, a cricket activist and volunteer. Jon is a tremendous fan of the game, and a consistent critic of official cricket when he felt that criticism was justified. Jon is no longer able to keep the site going due to health reasons, but the consistent interest in the issues raised here has encouraged us to maintain the site.
We encourage contributions of any sort, but particularly original writing on Canadian cricket. The site is sponsored but is not-profit- any funds over and above the costs of keeping the site going are donated to charity. You may contact us via-e-mail.
