Canadian cricket's great servant Kevin Boller has taken on a new project as the Public Relations Officer for the newly formed Canadian Women's Cricket Association. The association intends to foster and promote women's cricket across the country.
The Association will aim to have five Canadian women included in the North American American Ladies XI, which will play in the West Indies Women's Cricket Federation Regional Championship. Trinidad will host his tournament in the first two weeks of May 2004.
During the 2003 season, four Canadian women were members of the North American Invitational XI, which participated in the West Indies Women's Federation Championship.
There are plans being developed to enter a Toronto Women's XI in the Toronto & District Cricket Association 3rd division in the coming season.
