Re: USA to Co-host 2024 T20 World Cup

The press release says 18 matches will be held in the USA (none in Canada!) in five venues "approved by the ICC." Where are these five venues? Right now there's just Lauderhill. Are they going to build four ICC approved cricket stadia in two years?  Houston and North Carolina? Indian...

Re: USA to Co-host 2024 T20 World Cup

Most events are co-hosted. Re: Canada @ 2022 ICC Mens T20 Americas Qualifier

According to wikipedia, Pathan had the most runs in the tournament and the Argentina captain had the most wickets. In other words, the most wickets was not a Canadian or an ODI status American.

Re: Canada @ 2022 ICC Mens T20 Americas Qualifier

Canada win by 208 runs and actually won the tournament except for…well, y’know. On to the global qualifier! I’d have liked to have seen them use different openers today to give others time in the middle and maybe start a couple of backup players.

Re: Canadians at the US Open Cup

Apparently the draft is on Nov. 15. There are 10 teams and some players have been retained so there are a few spots remaining and 700 players have registered.

The WI team will have a high performance camp. The Canadians can’t just show up and compete!

Re: Canada @ 2022 ICC Mens T20 Americas Qualifier

Arg. 109/10. In 18 overs. Heyliger with five wickets! More runs than i would have liked but they should chase it in 10 overs. Maybe 14.

115/1. Paythan with 56*. Dhaliwal out for 49. Canada win by 9 wickets.

Canadians at the US Open Cup

There are several Canadian players that I believe are registered for a draft for the US Open Cup. I don't know when the draft is. Nitish Kumar ( who plays for the 'Clarion County Eagles')? Nikhil Dutta Hamza Tariq Junaid Siddiqui Arslan Khan Harsh Thaker Srimantha Wijeyeratne also a few others that ...
