Re: USA vs Canada
Good for them to be in a close game I guess but I’m not too interested in moral victories at this point. Again 37 yr old Saad is the best player on the team.

Re: USA vs Canada
Clearly a road. The USA with 230/3 and Canada, slogging to catch up, with 199. 199 is a big total. But Canada has had tons of preparation and the USA hasn’t which is worrisome. Joshi grts a helluva lot of swing. I notice Canada seems to bring on spin very early in the attack. Parveen Kumar with his ...

Re: USA vs Canada
I feel it’s a bit concerning that the T20 team is exactly the same as the ODI team. Not much depth I guess.
Thaker out to a terrific catch by the keeper not long after the keeper looked pretty awkward on a ball that went through to him.
I don’t like the kit. Too red.

Re: USA vs Canada
I don’t understand the Big Innings guys saying we’re all “excited “ for the WC opener between USA and Canada and PDP saying this series takes the shine off of the WC game. Anyway. The game is on the CC youtube. Over 12000 views so far! All of the umpires are from the USA which is fine because these ...

Re: Cricket Canada announcements and news
At the recent USA National Championships they lost games. It wasn’t raining but the outfield was wet. Ummmmm….King City? Canada is hosting ODIs later this year. What is CC doing about the facilities? Genuine question.

Re: Cricket Canada funding and financials
I do a bit of banking at TD and one person I know there is from India. I don’t think he knows much about cricket though.

Re: Canadian overseas players
I owe Kumar at least half an apology. The Big Innings guys saying he went to Houston for a longer season to play more cricket. But I don’t think that actually affects his ability to play for Canada.

Re: Canada @ 2024-6 CWC League 2
Whoa! Captain Harsh Thaker! Also Kirton and…Johnson? That surprised me. I’m surprised Wijeyeratne isn’t captaining. I think the ship has sailed for Ravinderpal Singh. Maybe he can power his way into the WC

Re: Canadian overseas players
I think Kumar was thinking of playing for USA so he could play ODIs and in the WC which the USA is co-hosting. It turns out Canada is there anyway.
