Re: Canadian Women's cricket

I think it's wonderful a transgender person can play cricket, and should feel welcome to play, it should be for everyone, but looking at the science and regulations of other elite sports - rugby, tennis, swimming, athletics, cycling, etc, where fairness has been exhaustively researched and legislate...

Re: Global T20 Canada 2019

Just back from a game. Very impressive set up. The organizers have done an amazing job getting the stadium set up and the players there. Couldn’t have asked for a tighter game. I wish more fans from the GTA were going to games. There will never be a better chance to see world class cricket on these ...

Re: Global T20 and the need to change the mindset in Canada

If there are so many fans and enough to support the game then why were there only 30-50 ticket holders in the crowd for almost all of the GT20 games last summer? The organisers spent 10.5$ million on some of the world’s best players and lost 10.2$ million in 21 days! Where were the millions of crick...

Re: Whats wrong with Canada cricket?

What's wrong with it? What's right? It has never been right here. It has always been a castaway cricket colony, entirely dependent on middle aged men who play cricket moving in, and slowly getting worse at cricket. There is no, and never has been, any sensible, inclusive, financially viable, sustain...

Re: $40K men

Where is the money being generated? There are no fans. It's all from Mercuri's mystery money pot? By their own admission, they lost 10$ million in 21 days last summer... Spectacular. How can this possibly be supported? Sounds like an absolute party at the moment. With money to burn, maybe some decen...

When you have $10.5 million to lose annually, anything is possible!
