Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup

Any idea of warm ups/preparation for this tournament? It starts in a month. Actually, I don't think they've announced the team yet. I hope there was national representation at the training camp. Obviously, they need to practice outdoors.

Re: Canadian overseas pros

OK, OK, I couldn't resist checking out the stats. Ravi Singh has 22 runs, H. Singh (ie Harmandeep) has 13 runs and 1 wicket, and Saad bin Zafar has 2 wickets and a 0*. They're all playing!

Re: Canadian overseas pros

Good for them and, actually, the experience should help them. I hope they get paid. With plenty of 1st class cricket on youtube, I, at least, won't be following too closely. The official website calls it "cricketainment"

Re: Windies Super50

Some stats from Kirton...
Nine matches

He took 2 wickets in 4 innings at an economy of 3.09 and, I think, 5 catches.

Re: Windies Super50

And Canada win!! Ur Rehman with 4 wickets and Thaker with an excellent game with bat and ball. Both of Canada's wins were against CCC. Will Canada get ahead of CCC on NRR?

Re: Windies Super50

252. A defendable total. Thaker with 68*. Some commentors saying it's an easy chase on this pitch. Any thoughts?

Re: Windies Super50

Their batting seems to be getting better. It doesn't seem that anyone is really making a name for himself. There have been good performances in every game, but by different people.

Re: Windies Super50

Kanwar Mann and Harrobindeep Sekhon played in Australia last season as did Arslan Khan. SKOB are delighted to announce the signing of Canadian duo Kanwar Mann (left) and Robin Sekhon (right) for the first half of the 2018/19 season! Mann, a spin bowling all-rounder, and Sekhon, a keeper-batsman, are...

Re: Windies Super50

187/3 and 240/5 and they end up at 249! It is defendable and the commentators are saying it's a must win game for CCC so game on! At the Victoria v. Vancouver representative game this summer, I thought the bowling was better than the batting. This should be a focus going forward.
