Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Wish granted to be pushed. I have said this before, the teams now are a lot closer than 5 years back. It has been a combination of Canada playing very well and the others not playing to potential. However the task on hand is completed..so congratulations to the team.

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Excellent win! Keep going boys. While I dont disagree with being pushed a bit might help, I also feel the team or any team, needs to build that super confidence of winning and winning well. For the first time in our history, we may have a team that can continue doing that in the next rounds as well....

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Good performance again. Yes, agree with above post that there is a gap in skills, however Qatar has performed decently in the recent past and all credit to Canada for being professional till now. These players go through lot of sacrifice for the love of the game only in order to play for the country...

Got the answer.. https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/25033717/associates-pathway-2023-world-cup-undergoes-major-revamp ICC in order to have 9 India matches in a WC, have made it borderline impossible for other countries. This greed and selfishness of ICC and BCCI, has made people like me follow ...

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

^ 250? I think we all got a pleasant surprise this morning, Victorian. It's great to see Canada breakout and dominate a team at this level. Thomas was overdue and finally showed his ability. Nitish had a good all-round game. If he could only show that more often he would be help lift the team to th...

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Wonderful performance by the boys! Way to go.. Thats what I meant about Nitesh, when I said we need some domination with the bat. This team was always capable of doing that. It is all about confidence and mindset. Now just hope they do not become complacent. Need to concentrate on the next one. Grea...

A thing about Kumar's game...he took the wicket of their top scorer, had an economy of 2.00 and took two catches and scored 12 so overall a good contribution.
Sure...but need more domination with bat now.

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Good start, points on board matter. This team is a good one and should improve as they go. Yes, guys like Nitesh should be feasting on these teams after being involved in international cricket, including a WC, for almost 10 years! No excuses for that. He is not even big stokeplayer who can have a ba...

Re: Canada @ 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier

^ Nepal are not part of the T20 WC Qualifier, having been knocked out by Singapore in the Asian regional T20s. As Bertus de Jong's graphic ( https://twitter.com/BdJcricket/status/1168920682421526531 ) explains, finishing 4th in their group Canada would have to win two consecutive matches to advance...
