Re: Canadian Women's cricket
Hmmm. Brazil appear to think that the women's game is the area for growth of the game in that country. It is awarding central contracts to its women's team. The Cricket Brazil initiative is funded by two corporate sponsors. http://www.cricketbrasil.org/central-contract-for-womens-cricket-brazil-in-2...

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
The ICC website is now showing two warm-up matches for Canada (added to initial post). These fixtures provide a great challenge for the young Canadians and to play in these warm-ups would be almost as sought-after as the main competition itself.

Re: Canadian overseas pros
The Canadians involved in QT10 ended up playing all the matches for their respective teams. They'll be hoping it leads to further opportunities. Unfortunately, the tournament itself was not free of concerns : https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/28319225/icc-opens-anti-corruption-investigations-f...

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
So then we're both waiting for news of the squad and warm-ups. :D I've been checking the ICC site for both the last few days. Nothing yet. Canada will be among the last to name a squad. England and Sri Lanka appear to be watching the play of their teams in a tri-series to make the final call. Unfort...
