Re: Cricket Canada AGM

2020 AGM for the year ending December 2019: The thirty day period of advanced notice for the AGM would appear to have passed without any word of the AGM, notice of a Special General Meeting or any information at all, really. Are CC following their own constitution ? Do the provincial boards have any...

Re: Meanwhile in Alberta

Alberta Cricket Council's side of the story recapped again and an update on the matter: https://www.facebook.com/devesh.shankar.1/videos/10158271888033147/ The situation is of interest beyond Alberta because of the implications for the leadership of Cricket Canada. The provincial body, Alberta Crick...

Re: Global T20 Canada 2020

Perhaps it could be a Canadian only tournament with players from all over the country. Yes, the tournament would probably rely on more Canadians this year than anticipated but would still require a significant amount of foreign content. It would have to get a few of the "icon" players and some seco...

Re: Global T20 Canada 2020

While a 2020 GT20 might not be possible or indeed advisable, the tournament is in the favourable position of being single-venue and not relying on local fans.

Re: Canada @ 2020 Challenge League A (2nd round)

The 2nd round of Challenge League A has apparently been pushed to Sept/Oct 2020 (still in Malaysia). Given the uncertainty of the domestic cricket season for this summer, it is an open question as to whether Canada will be any better prepared than for the original dates in March. We hope all the tea...

Re: Cricket Canada in the Media

So ... a website for Nitish Kumar? : http://www.canadacricket.com/?p=13246 There is not much content other than a few articles and a brief listing of his accomplishments. The obvious questions would be: What is the purpose of the site ? How will it benefit Nitish Kumar ? Why now ? Is this part of so...

Re: CC looking for help (again)

Development Officer wanted : https://cricketcanada.org/news-single?nid=103 From the requirements, I would think they already have someone in mind. It is a bit unlikely they would get many applicants with the qualifications for this part-time position. A relevant tertiary degree/diploma Certified L2 ...
