Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
Canada finishes their tournament on a satisfying note, reversing their pool stage failure against UAE to capture 13th place. The Canadian bowling pegged back their opponents to a very make-able 195. But it took a crucial 7th wicket stand to rescue the match from a precarious position. Canada ended w...

Re: Canada @ 2020 Challenge League A (2nd round)
Two of our League A opponents, Malaysia and Singapore, are preparing for their region's T20 World Cup qualifier in early March. So both sides will be playing lots of cricket ahead of the Challenge League.

Re: Canada @ 2020 Challenge League A (2nd round)
As was the case for the 1st round, the schedule for the 2nd round of the Challenge League is out but only one organization is willing to share. Hint: It's not the ICC. https://cricket.dk/landsholdet-til-australien-og-malaysia/ The tournament starts on the 16th of March where we play Qatar at the won...

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
^ Good to see. Hope the coverage continues for 2nd round of Challenge League and GT20. Canada get their first win of the tournament over Japan. Nicholas Monahar with the century and Akhil Kumar adding 6 to his already large wicket total. Despite being soundly beaten, Japan gave Canada more of a matc...

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
Canada out of competition for Plate (9th place) following loss to Zimbabwe. Early signs of hope were crushed as Zimbabwe recovered in the last 15 overs to post 271 total. The Canadian bats weren't up to the formidable chase required.

Re: Interviews of CC Board, Players, etc.
I agree. Cricket Canada can't fix all the deficiencies but the answer isn't to do nothing. (We've been trying that and it's not working). It's time for Cricket Canada to announce their priorities and show their plans. But they don't because clearly there are none. I suspect the "First Class League" ...

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
Canada's 3rd pool match against Afghanistan is abandoned. Fortunately, the consolation round awaits, though after finishing last in their group they will likely face a test nation first off.

Re: Canada @ 2020 ICC U19 World Cup
The Canadian bowling was again unable to restrict an opponent with South Africa putting up a huge total. The required run rate was always going to be too much. Kumar and Calitz were the stand-out performers on the day in a 150 run loss.
