A thing about Kumar's game...he took the wicket of their top scorer, had an economy of 2.00 and took two catches and scored 12 so overall a good contribution.
Sure...but need more domination with bat now.

Re: ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League

Good start, points on board matter. This team is a good one and should improve as they go. Yes, guys like Nitesh should be feasting on these teams after being involved in international cricket, including a WC, for almost 10 years! No excuses for that. He is not even big stokeplayer who can have a ba...

Re: Canada @ 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier

^ Nepal are not part of the T20 WC Qualifier, having been knocked out by Singapore in the Asian regional T20s. As Bertus de Jong's graphic ( https://twitter.com/BdJcricket/status/1168920682421526531 ) explains, finishing 4th in their group Canada would have to win two consecutive matches to advance...

Re: WT20 Qualifier

So Canada finish the Americas qualifier undefeated. They'll still need to step it up a notch to contend in UAE. The squad is pretty much set but we might expect to see the youngsters Khan and Thaker replaced for the World T20 Qualifier in October. Who to bring into the team? Will there be a Cricket...

Re: WT20 Qualifier

0-2??? I'm gonna say they shouldn't select Cheema anymore. He gets out for very low totals too often. I'd say you're right. That's two ducks against Cayman Islands. The competition is not going to get easier at the T20 global qualifier. Bhavindu Adhihetty might be a replacement for Rizwan. Rodrigo ...

Re: WT20 Qualifier

I think England even has plans or at least puts a lot of thought into reaching out to their asian population. With huge drops in participation they'll have to. And the asian population is interested in cricket anyways..so it is far easier to tie some loose ends and get them more involved. It is an ...

Re: WT20 Qualifier

Not really a big game against USA. Beat CI and Bermuda twice and they're through. Of course, weather can upset those plans. Surely, they should make up abandoned games on days off! With two teams qualifying should be a walkover for ICC International XI...Oops! I mean "Team USA" ;) ;) ...and Canada....

^ That's the hope. It also helps that the tournament started only a week after GT20.

Big match against USA coming up on Wednesday.

Re: WT20 Qualifier

Dont want to jinx our boys, but maybe we can already see the benefits of our boys participation in an event like GT20. Atleast at this stage they seem to be at a different level to Caymans or the Bermudas..and Bermuda did beat USA. USA is not a bad team..
