Re: u19 WC qualifying
Doesn't this seem a little incoherent? The ICC has seemed to be definitely favouring the USA in the last couple of years and now the Canada u19s are going to the WI and not an Americas team. I really don't like how there's no meritocracy. There should be a Div. 2 tournament with the winners playing ...

u19 WC qualifying
Next summer sometime there will be an Americas u19 WC qualifying tournament with Argentina, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Canada and USA. In other places in the world there are about to be Div. 2 qualifiers. I wish there was an active Americas Div. 2. https://www.facebook.com/asso.affi/photos/a.653679618...

Auty Cup
I just read Peter Della Penna's Cricinfo article saying the Auty Cup will quite likely be held immediately after the Americas T20 sub-qualifier in Sept. and be a three game 50 over series for the USA to prepare for WCL. I had thought the Auty Cup would be heavy on T20 to prepare for the T20 tourname...

Re: CC looking for help (again)
I'd buy a shirt and drinking cup unless they were too overpriced.

Re: CC looking for help (again)
Still no one I guess although I would learn of it on this forum. I just noticed that there is a shop on the CC website. I, at least, had a bit of trouble registering and logging in although that was probably largely my fault. Anyway, it didn't matter because every item is out of stock and the descri...

Re: Global T20 Canada
A brief interview with the CEO of the Vancouver Knights, Rizwan Mohammed, who says, when asked about how to have more spectators at the games, that organizers are looking at covering all of the bleachers because of the heat, and cheaper prices. Surely there's a lot more to it than that. The relevant...

Re: Names of Players
I do tend to agree that there must be some players originally from Australia and England living and playing here that could play for Canada and more in depth scouting and a good pathway from youth to the national team could find them, but I think that players who have grown up and learned their cric...

Re: Global T20 Canada
I have to also say that I contacted Mercuri Canada about sponsoring a kanga tournament in Victoria. They say they want to develop Canadian cricket. I said these are the future fans of the Vancouver Knights! Nothing yet. Not even an auto-reply. Obviously, I realize that they might not be interested i...

Re: Global T20 Canada
I found Ashit Patel to be completely unconvincing about having games in other cities. It sounds like a gleam in someone's eye. It sounds like the ground at King City was really not good enough. How can they get another ground, perhaps on the other side of Toronto somewhere, to be more of a professio...
