Re: Canada @ 2022 South American Womens Championship
Canada has gained some respect in this tournament. Hopefully they will get opportunities from this like some sort of tri-series or maybe an Americas qualifier. The USA u19 women toured the WI so maybe Canada can get something like that. The way forward for the Canada Women’s program is to have a dom...

Re: Canada @ 2022 South American Womens Championship
So Peru all out for 34. They were all out for 31 against Argentina. Not sure what their program gains from this experience. I think Canada has won this tournament already on NRR with Brazil having a close one against Argentina. I know, one more game to go.

Re: Canada @ 2022 South American Womens Championship
Canada win by 45 runs! Holy smokes! What happened since last summer? Perhaps the team had more better training together. Coach Cheema might be doing great things.

This year there was no Cup apparently because AB could not field a team due to lack of funding. I hope it gets back on track in 2023 es...

Re: U19 WC
I was checking on Wikipedia and it has a page for the 2024 u19 WC. It says there will be a single qualifier for the Americas in 2023. There are two qualifiers for most other regions. Why not a Div. 2 tournament for the Americas? I would like to see Suriname back in things.

Re: ICC favorite son/daughter (yet again)
It’s reported that the ICC is stopping funding to USA cricket for now at least.

Re: Canadian Women's cricket
A piece on cricinfo says the Thailand women's team does HP training in India as much as possible. The Thai team is in the Asia Cup semifinal with all native players. It’s just an example of Canada being left way behind. Our players should, first of all, have much more good domestic play and pathway,...
