^ I'm not a member of that Facebook group so could not access the schedule.

Instead, here is the info from another source: https://www.weeklyvoice.com/head-coach- ... -league-a/
Team Canada’s Malaysia Challenge League A campaign will commence on March 17 against hosts Malaysia. Canada’s remaining matches will be against Denmark on March 19, Vanuatu on March 22 before ending with back-to-back encounters against Qatar and Singapore on March 25 and 26th. The Canadians will start the 2020 League A Tournament as Group leaders on eight points, having suffered just one loss, to Singapore, during the 2019 Tournament.
So, again our final match will be against Singapore with first place in League A likely on the line - a must-win for Canada.

The warm-ups will be important to settle on a playing XI. Malaysia, Singapore and Qatar all come into the tournament with recent T20 activity.

Challenge League A postponed: https://cricketcanada.org/news-single?nid=101

With political, business and sporting events/conferences being cancelled/postponed worldwide, I was wondering whether COVID-19 would also affect this tournament. I'm glad they called it off before the Canadians had departed. When the tournament eventually gets played is anybody's guess.

This is huge for Canada! The players will now be in the middle (or end) of cricket season. Perhaps, too, the venue will be changed.

The 2nd round of Challenge League A has apparently been pushed to Sept/Oct 2020 (still in Malaysia).
Given the uncertainty of the domestic cricket season for this summer, it is an open question as to whether Canada will be any better prepared than for the original dates in March. We hope all the teams are safe and coping well in the circumstances.

To no one's surprise, the 2nd round of the Challenge League A is postponed for a 2nd time: https://www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/1775687

It is looking likely that Canada will play no international cricket in 2020. A re-scheduled Ch. League A prior to say June next year would leave Canada with only indoor practice since the fall of 2019.

How 'bout Team "USA" and Canada arrange some matches between themselves,
maybe even play the Auty Cup. Still plenty of opportunity to play cricket. Just
have to be innovative during these times.

Indeed, 2021 shaping up to be a hugely important year for Canadian cricket (assuming COVID-19 is eventually controlled). Canada has some time to prepare and needs to get their selection right. I would think with the other Challenge League teams traveling here, we have a rare chance for some Canada 'A' matches against them.

Yet more changes to the 2nd round of Challenge League 'A' as described on CanadaCricket.com. Now it is to return to Malaysia for the end of 2021 with the 3rd and final round slated for Canada in 2022. This certainly offers the participating teams more time to get their players vaccinated and ready for travel, while possibly eliminating the need for quarantine on arrival in Malaysia or upon return. It does mean Canada loses the advantage of playing at home and in season for the round they no doubt hoped would separate them from the pack.

The COVID-related changes may not be done. With the ICC having to plan months in advance, they will have to make a decision on July's Americas T20 Qualifier sooner rather than later. It would not be surprising to see it moved to the USA also throwing the Auty Cup plans awry. Instead of a big year for Canada Cricket hosting, circumstances have now taken two and possibly three tournaments (GT20, Challenge League A Rnd 2, & Americas T20?).

After play in Malaysia was not deemed possible ... another postponement.

Next attempt for the 2nd round of Challenge League A:
https://emergingcricket.com/news/challe ... announced/

2nd round
Host: Canada
Dates: July 24 - August 7, 2022

3rd round
Host: Malaysia
Dates: December 1 - 14, 2022

So, again a good chance for Canada to gain the upper hand at home. A 5-0 record is the only acceptable result.
Will Kumar and Dutta be part of these crucial ODIs? The are missing in action for two big T20 series now.
