USACricket finances revealed

Post by timmyj51 » Wed Oct 21, 2020 12:44 pm

USACricket just posted the audit of its finances. Got over $4 million last year, over $2 million from ICC, $1.5 million from ACE. :o
Spent almost all of it on men's national team. :o Only $14K on development! Only $13K in membership
fees, $10K in sponsorship! Higgins says there's going to be different allotment in the future. Better be!

I'm with you on the complete lack of funding for development. There's a story on Emerging Cricket about the Netherlands bringing up home grown players. Besides quality, it obviously develops a fan base. In Victoria we have some money budgeted for juniors. How could USA cricket miss that?

According to disclosure, USACricket did spend $171K on "youth cricket" (all expat youth I assume)..and $101K of
that went to travel, meals, etc! :o Of the $14K spent on "development" $10K went to travel, meals, etc. :o Also
spent $240K on "membership"...which resulted in $13K in membership income! :o If membership is still ten bucks
that means USACricket has a paid membership of 1300!
