MLB to London...ICC to nowhere

Post by timmyj » Tue May 08, 2018 2:47 pm

Report confirms what's been rumored for a while: Boston Red Sox and
Yankees gonna play two MLB games in London next year, right during
the Cricket World Cup!! And ICC? Have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
to bring first class cricket to North America...and PULEEZ don't mention
those Lauderhill and Toronto fiascos!

ICC don't seem too worried about these initial inroads by MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, etc. into markets like UK, Australia and China. When they (and BCCI) wake up one day and find the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Yankees, or Manchester United playing regular season games in Mumbai or Kolkata and taking money out of their pockets it will be too late.

As part of their promo of the London games MLB going to be
running beginner softball league in May aimed at cricketers ("coin flip"
for innings, "run outs" instead of "caught off base" etc):

Can anyone imagine for one minute the legthargic, amateurish,
people at CPL or Mercuri doing anything like this for the game in North
America? :x :x :x :x
