It is tough to beat Nepal in Nepal but Canada's bowling peaked in the first match of the Nepal bi-laterals. Team performances have declined from there. A single wicket taken in a chase of 232 is a concern.

Canada have a struggle ahead in League 2. I hope they have a better idea of their best team.

Canucks/States NEVER, NEVER, NEVER going to be competitive as long as expats have
stranglehold on North American cricket. :( Who can break the stranglehold? :?
The ONLY salvation for NA cricket!

Confirmed that Canada will play matches against Nepal 'A'. 50 over matches are scheduled for February 18, 20 and 22.

The Nepal and UAE-hosted CWC League 2 series are now listed in the ICC calendar. Why can't ICC bring itself to actually announce the start of the cycle and Cricket Canada its schedule?

Scotland have announced only a pair of warm-up matches with "UAE XI" prior to the start of the UAE tri-series. Perhaps this is Canada's best chance to get off to a good start to the competition against the less prepared Scots ?

After the February update to the ICC ODI rankings, Canada still absent from the table. So a minimum ten ODIs to be included ?

Czarsportz is releasing the CWC League 2 schedules for each team.

It looks to be 9 tri-series for each team for a total of 36 matches. There are other ODIs and T20Is added .

Apparently, the top 4 from League 2 earn berths in the WC Qualifier. The 2027 Qualifier Playoff will feature the bottom 4 from League 2 and the top 4 from the Challenge League for a total of 8 teams. It was not specified whether all 4 from League 2 would be at risk of demotion.

Well since Canada A lost to Malaysia, there’s no room for complacency!

Canada defeat Nepal A by 4 wickets with 3 balls to spare. Lots of early wickets lost in the chase of 216. Fortunately, Dhaliwal (80), bin Zafar, Dutta (67) and Movva were the major contributors in getting Canada over the line. A win is a win but this is not the level Canada will have to play in League 2.
