Your attendance estimates, Scotty, don't seem to jive with organizer braggadocio, who claim they'll
get 100K in attendance this year. Not unless they count the flies and birds on the ground.
Already lost one day to weather and all the desies will probably be at Lauderhill this weekend for India matches.
Meanwhile, what's this hotshot Lang Marketing been doing? They're supposed to be
putting rear ends into seats.

Timmyj51 - why do you worry so much about a T20 league that you last year gave no chance to even taking place, then no chance that people will get that kind of money, no chance of Canadians getting opportunities, no chance of it getting televised live, then no chance it will be repeated next year and so on...all these things have actually happened! Not to forget you saying ' will not allow this to happen in my backyard'....you should have known an ICC approved league is a different ball game. After a point, it just becomes a rant for no reason, rather suggest ideas for improvement, spread the news around, attend the games....
Let people enjoy to whatever level they want to. For most people it is a positive thing to see this in our 'backyard'.

By all means "enjoy" your time at Brampton...with the other 2000. Keep
thinking small...just what the game needs.

Absolutely enjoyed the game today at the ground! What a nice atmosphere with some political leaders in attendance and a full house. So nice to see things getter better for the game here..thank god the game has moved to Brampton Missisauga area where most fans are and not to the beautiful Toronto cricket club...with the mainstream and people around the ground not caring one bit. Things will change slowly for cricket in Canada, but change they will..just keep the cricket caring communities involved.

That's the spirit! Maybe CC should adopt as its motto one of these:

Talk tall; think small. 8-)
Think small! Let me show you how! 8-)
Don't blame me! I only think small! 8-)

Or maybe 'Bringing cricket lovers and cricketing communities closer'. :D :D
All the best timmyj51 for getting 50 'mainstream' Canadians playing cricket in the next 50 years, just like 50 Ice Hockey fans in India out of 1.4 Billion. Actually the funny thing is there is no such thing as mainstream.. can you define that please?

"50 mainstream Canucks in 50 years"? Maybe with Saini and his gang.
Timmyj wouldn't allow any ex-pat to attend any match unless they
bring two mainstream Canucks with them...you DO have two
mainstream Canuck friends, don't you, mautan. :? :?

timmyj51 - slowly but surely I have managed to expose your real face. 'Wont allow any ex-pat unless he brings two mainstream canucks'. Wow.

My question to you still remains ' how do you define mainstream in Canada'? You are thoroughly exposed timmyj51 for what you are.

As for my two mainstream friends, it depends on when I get the defination from you.

Just bring two mainstream (non cricket) Canadians with you to the next match, mautan...if you have
two mainstream Canadian friends.
