Canadians in CPL draft

There are 12 Canadian players in the CPL draft. Each team must take an Americas player, and any other Associate players, including from the Americas, count as overseas players.

Sorry that Eranga appears to be hanging up his cricket gears, at least professionally but that is the life or Associate cricketers. Surprising that Kumar is not in the list.
Best hopes for draft would be Jacobs, Tariq and Dutta.

Was wondering why Nitish was not included. Turns out he was and is the only Canadian to land a contract. If anything, I would have thought he would be behind Jacobs, Dutta and Tariq, having had only limited success/oportunities in the Caribbean. Nevermind. Good luck, Nitish.

Cricinfo reporting that Saad bin Zafar has an ICC Americas contract with the Zouks of CPL. I believe that's it for Canadians.

Pleased for bin Zafar.
Nick Kirton, the Canadian-qualified Barbadian, appears to be on the Jamaica Tallawahs squad. Another shot at professionalism for the inconsistent young man.

Saad bin Zafar bowled today 2 0 10 0. His team was reduced to batting 5 overs. Dumb.
Kirton has one run in two innings.

Bin Zafar bowls a single over for 21 against the St. Kitts & Nevis. Kirton dropped from Jamaica after a 2nd failure.

Kirton back in the lineup with a quick 25. No sign of Zafar.
