Canada been to U19 seven times since 2002. In those 18 years nothing's
really changed. No retreat, but no advancement. In short, going NOWHERE. :cry: :cry:

^ Kumar's success at the U19 WC probably comes in no small part due to being active prior to the tournament. He is playing the winter at with the Wanganui club in New Zealand with Akash Gill. Gill had also played winter cricket in NZ prior to his very successful 2018 Youth World Cup.

It is likely the Canadian team would benefit from playing outdoor cricket before major tournaments. The timing of the U19 WC has always led to less than optimal results.
