The indoor cricket playoffs began on Monday (May 8th) for Peel Schools with a girls semi-final game decided on the final ball of the allotted overs. Stephen Lewis girls made 47 runs for the loss of two wickets in six overs, but were squeezed out of the final as Father Goetz reached a winning 48 runs from the last ball of six overs. Father Goetz team lost three wickets and will meet the winner of the game between T.L. Kennedy and Heart Lake in the final. The Senior Boys playoffs begin on Tuesday quarter final matches that see Brampton Centennial (North Central winners) hosts Port Credit, North Park (North Division winners) hosts Woodlands, and Stephen Lewis (South Central winners) host Harold M. Brathwaite. The South Division winners, T.L. Kennedy hosts Lincoln Alexander on Wednesday. The Junior Boys playoffs begin on Thursday (May 10th). North Park, the North Division winners, host Stephen Lewis, second in the South Division. Rick Hansen, unbeaten in the South Division, host Sandalwood.
