The Windsor Cavaliers Cricket Club defeated the defending champion Sunrise Brown of Waterloo 212-210 to win the Southern Ontario Cricket Association championship last weekend. In semifinal action, Cavalier CC beat Sunrise Onkar 142-141. In other news, cricket clubs raised $1,500 during a recent Pakistan relief effort held at Jackson Park.
The money will assist the Red Cross in its response to the floods in Pakistan.
