Comment: Long time national team player Ravindu Gunasekera, who has been playing first-class cricket in Sri Lanka this winter is absent from the squad- he has stated he wants to try and represent Sri Lanka in the future. Most of the other names are familiar. Dhanuka Pathirana is a 34 year old who has played 85 first class matches in Sri Lanka with five centuries.
