Unbeaten Ontario North Under-17 (Won 3, Lost 0) face Ontario West Under-17 (Won 2, Lost 1) in today’s (Friday, July 28, 2017) final of the Ontario Under-17 Regional Tournament at Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Ontario. North U17 won the round-robin game against West U17 by 2 wickets on Wednesday in what has, so far, been the highest scoring game of the tournament. Darshil Patel (40 runs) and Ravi Sandhu (29) lead West U17 to 162 all out (47.4 overs) in that game. North’s Manav Patel picked up 4 wickets for 16 runs from 4.4 overs. Josh Shah (61) and Raqib Shamsudeen (42) lead the way for North but several batsmen fell for low scores. Darshill Patel captured 4 wickets for 26 runs from 8 overs but North’s crossed the victory line with two wickets and 5.3 overs to spare.
