CBC have posted a third story on the rapid development of women’s cricket in Regina. Perhaps other cricket bodies across the cxountry can learn from this successful effort to promote cricket in the media:-
\nNisha Dalip is new to the team, and new to cricket, having only played a few times before.
\n“I don’t like when there’s pressure on you. I was afraid and nervous because you know when to come to cricket and when people are so passionate about it they force up to be good at it,” she said Saturday.
\nBut Dalip’s nerves dissipated thanks to the support from other player’s who taught her the game’s rules and basics of play.
\nOn Saturday, she even served as one of the captains.
\n“It’s amazing seeing women coming out, ladies coming out, children coming out and coming out and watching us and supporting us.”
