Bermuda were put into bat at the Malton ground, not Maple Leaf CC as previously advertised. Bermuda after reaching 90 for the loss of only one wicket had a rapid decline to 146\/9 after 30 overs (the game appears to be reduced to 30 overs). Canada reached 96\/4 in reply led by 57 from Ayoub Ahmad Zai before rain prevented further play.

\nIn the meantime, apparently a Canadian XI played a “Caribbean All Star XI” on Tuesday. Cricket Canada’s Facebook page reported “Canada XI finish up with 187 all out (Nitish 27, Bhavindu 20, Rizwan 45, Shahid 18) (Ravi 2\/20, Crandon 3\/23, Akeel 2\/6)” then later that the Caribbean XI won by 2 wickets. The two teams are scheduled to meet again today, perhaps at the Iceland ground.<\/p>\n
