The National T20 starts today, although Cricket Canada has not officially announced players attending, teams or the schedule. We understand from information provided unofficially that there will be 4 matches a day, start times 10 am and 3 pm at Maple Leaf CC. Matches will be played on turf wickets.\u00a0 Players will be assigned to one of four teams- no criteria given to date but one assumes with a mix of national players and those aspiring to that level. The format is of a double round robin so each team will play 6 T2 games. No news on live scoring, updates or streaming. According to the Telegram, St. John’s<\/a>, Newfoundland and Labrador have two players attending, Praveen Manhas (a left arm spinner) and Rahul Vashishtha (batsman), both 25 years old.<\/p>\n The Nova Scotia Cricket Association Facebook page provides the information that three of their players are attending, Daksh Talwar (leg spinner), Arun Nag (left arm spin) and Arslan Khan (keeper-batsman). Reeze Telling<\/a> (Nova Scotia coach with first-class playing experience in South Africa) is attending as a national selector.<\/p>\n
