Meraloma have won all five of their games in part due to Earl&#8217;s outstanding batting. He has made three centuries in five innings, plus an unbeaten 57, with just a single failure. With 404 runs at an average of over 100, perhaps the Canadian selectors might soon be taking notice.<\/p>\n<p>33 year old Earl grew up in England and was a County Durham Junior all-rounder. At one time he was classed as one of the brightest young prospects in the North-East of England until he suffered various injuries, especially back problems. He captained Durham Juniors up until the age of eighteen and continued to set many records in the North East including hitting 165 not out in NE Senior League vs Swalwell Cricket Club while just eighteen years old.
