Ryerson University also began early today (March 14) against West Virginia. University of Alabama in Huntsville struck 165\/7 from 20 overs on Wednesday morning against Ryerson College. Vaibhav Gohil lead with 62. Three Ryerson bowlers each took 2 wickets. Ahmed Ali took 2\/15 from 4 overs; Meet Shah took 2\/24 from 4 overs and Kartik Desai took 2 for 26 from 4 overs. Number four bat Jean-Paul Rocke 34 with (32 balls) and number 6 bat Richard Perkins 47 (33 balls) lead the Ryerson recovery with a stand of 51 for the 5th wicket. Ryerson struck 215 for 8 from 20 overs later on Wednesday against Virginia Tech. The Virginia Tech score seemed stuck overnight on 50 for 2 from 5.4 overs but has now been updated to 124 all out. Kartik Desai took 3 for 16 from 4 overs and Talha Kirmani 3\/30 from 3.5 overs. Ryerson captain and opening bat Anees Saeed struck 105 from 54 balls and took part in a fifth wicket stand of 75 with Jamison Franco, who went on to reach 58*.
