Karim Sadiq hit a flurry of boundaries and Baidwan compensated for dropping Shazad by having him caught an over later. He took a second wicket when he bowled Mangal but Afghanistan were scoring at a good pace, registering 82\/4 at the half-way mark. The dangerous Mohammad Nabi was still in however and launched some big hits &#8211; four clearing the ropes. One big hitter accounted for the other when Nabi was caught on the fence off Cheema&#8217;s bowling for 47 off 33 balls. Khurram Chohan took two more wickets in his next over, the second a sharp catch by Bhatti standing up to the stumps. Cheema and Baidwan joined Chohan on three wickets apiece as Afghanistan were bowled out for 150 from 18.3 overs.<br \/>\nPatel got Canada off to a rousing start, taking four boundaries off the 4th over. Gunasekera was bowled with the score on 38, then both Hansra and Patel hit long-hops to fielders. Patel made 45 out of 67\/3. Cheema hit two sixes and three fours in his 36, but his wicket was the first of 5 in 14 balls as Canads slumped to 128\/9. 22 runs off the last over proved too much and so, yet again, Canada lost to the Afghans.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/icc-intercontinental-cup-2011-13\/engine\/current\/match\/518203.html\">CricInfo scorecard<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the Under 19s loss earlier in the day, the senior team followed suit, going down by 17 runs in a rain shortened match.
