SATEC made 79 runs and Woburn 80 in one semi-final. Agincourt hit 123 and David and Mary Thomson \u201cA\u201d team  made 122 in the other semi-final.  There was probably some good cricket in these two games at the Percy Cummins ground, but details are not at hand.  I had to decide to take care of myself by not going seeking the heat and humidity that arrived later in the day.  The East Region final is due to be played  at L\u2019Amoureaux Park cricket ground on Wednesday (May 28th) at 12. 30 pm.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe West Region semi-finals will be played on Wednesday at Eglinton Flats. These will involve Kipling CI and West Humber CI on the East pitch, and George Harvey CI playing North Albion CI \u201cA\u201d (NACI \u201cA\u201d) on the west pitch.  These games are due to start at 9am, followed by the winners meeting in the West Region final 12.30 pm.  The losing semi-finalists will also play a game to decide third-place in the West.  <\/p>\n<p>George Harvey CI won West Division 1 thanks to a 26 run win against Kipling CI, after both sides had beaten Silverthorn CI and Martingrove CI.  In the division deciding game, George Harvey scored 83 for seven wickets in 15 overs then bowled out Kipling for 57 in 10.1 overs.  Kipling reached a winning 46 for three wickets in 6.5 overs to beat Martingrove (46 for five wkts in 15 overs) by seven wickets.  After bowling out Silverthorn for 55 in 13.2 overs, Kipling raced to 57 for one wicket in six overs.  Details of George Harvey\u2019s wins against Martingrove and Silverthorn were not available when this report was filed. <\/p>\n<p>West Humber won West Division 2 with a tie-breaker win due to losing one less wicket against North Albion CI \u201cA\u201d in a match where both teams scored 74 runs in 15 overs.  North Albion lost 7 wickets in scoring 74 runs but West Humber lost just six wickets.  West Humber made 92 all out (15 overs) then bowled out North Albion \u201cB\u201d for 27 in 11 overs to win by 65 runs, and also beat York Memorial (details not available). North Albion \u201cA\u201d made 99 for four wickets (15 overs) in beating North Albion \u201cB\u201d by 26 runs.  The North Albion  \u201cB\u201d side reached 73 for nine wickets in 15 overs.  North Albion \u201cA\u201d bowled out York Memorial for just 15 runs in 10 overs, then pumped a winning 17 for no wicket in three overs. <\/p>\n<p>Round-robin games continue on Tuesday and Wednesday to decide the four schools to advance to the North Region semi-finals on Friday morning.  The wining semi-finalists then follows on Friday afternoon.
