Nova Scotia edged Newfoundland and Labrador by 8 runs to capture the Atlantic T20 Championship. Nova Scotia made 169\/7 and the Newfoundland team fell just short.
\nNS 169 for 5 (20) A. Joshi 93 not out
\nN&L 161 for 8 (20) Negi 31 ; Kathir 56 not out – rally late in innings brought N&L close.
\nEarlier, captain Rakesh Negi’s half century led Newfoundland and and Labrador to a historic win over Quebec. Quebec were 91 all out with Ashwin Gupta taking 4\/13: Newfoundland made 92\/2.
\nIn the final game Quebec beat PEI by 63 runs
\nQuebec 166 for 9 (20) Inderjit Singh 48 not out; PEI 103 all out (18.3) S. Singh 42<\/p>\n
