Victorious OPL squad (Eddie Norfolk)<\/p><\/div>\n

The MCC played an OPL all-star squad in a 20-20 game at Malton, and this will be followed by the OPL final later in the afternoon. The games were streamed live on the OPL web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The OPL squad posted a good total of 190, thanks to Dhaliwal’s 64 from 31 balls, and Sudesh’s 58. The MCC went down to a heavy defeat managing 83\/8 from their 20 overs. Dutta led the bowling with 4\/12 from four overs after Junaid Siddiqi and Pervez had made early breakthroughs.<\/p>\n

In the OPL final, the Toronto Towers lost wickets early and struggled to 107 all out. Mahadeo let the bowling with 4\/13. The Brampton Kings paced their innings well and although they reached the target in the 20th over, the result was never in doubt – a win by 5 wickets.<\/p>\n
