The match had been reduced to 31 overs per side and the Americas had the Leewards at 73 for six wickets from 24 overs when rain stopped play for the day.<\/p>\n<p>ICC Americas face Guyana on Thursday as the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Under-19 championship continues.<br \/>\n <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Barbados Under-19&#8217;s opened with a 74 run win against ICC Americas.  Barbados hit 262 for seven wickets in 50 overs.  ICC Americas replied with 188 all out in 45.5 overs.  A stand of 113 for the second wicket in 27 overs between Shai Hope (139 not out) and Shayne Moseley set the course for Barbados.  Steve Taylor (USA) and Nitish Kumar (Canada) took the Americas to 100 for one in 21 overs but after Taylor fell for 75 and Kumar was out for 26, the side was unable to keep up the challenge on the Barbados total. <\/p>\n<p>Hope and Moseley had seen Barbados to 100 for one in 21 overs.
