The cricket player, originally from New Zealand, moved to Fredericton five years ago and launched Cricket New Brunswick. He thought it would be a great idea because cricket was once declared Canada\u2019s national sport.<br \/>\nIt turns out, however, that growing the sport has been a challenge. Few people in New Brunswick are familiar with it. Michelle Foreman of Fredericton had never really even heard of cricket until a friend recruited her to play this year. She says it\u2019s a confusing sport to learn.<br \/>\n\u201cHolding the bat is different.
