The second was a thriller as Newfoundland and Labrador came within a whisker of recording their first win over Nova Scotia but a great recovery by the Nova Scotians took them to a win off the penultimate ball. NL posted 166\/5 from their twenty overs, with another good innings from Hari Raghuraman who made 68 against the side he formerly captained. Nova Scotia lost two wickets in their first over and were 51\/5 with 9 overs to go but a fine performance by the lower order, led by Amol Zakmi&#8217;s 68, took them to victory in the last over. New Brunswick beat PEI in the third match of the day, PEI making 106\/7 thanks to 35 from Verley Harrison, and New Brunswick chasing the total in 14.2 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process\/<br \/>\nA late start meant that the crucial Nova Scotia-Quebec match was reduced to 15 overs\/ side. Quebec overhauled Nova Scotia&#8217;s 121\/4 in the last over, thanks to Pratik Joshi&#8217;s unbeaten half century.<br \/>\nGoing into the final day, Quebec look set for the title, unless New Brunswick can cause an upset as the two teams face each other in the opening match.
