David Campbell\u2019s 67 runs carried Halifax Gold most of the way to victory in the final in response to Halifax Red\u2019s 104\/7 in last Saturday\u2019s (Sept 13, 2014) T20 final of Nova Scotia\u2019s Halifax Cricket League. Earlier on Saturday, Halifax Red had scored 107\/2 to beat Halifax Blue by eight wickets in the sole championship semi-final.<\/p>\n
Campbell\u2019s knock of 67 in the final brought him the Man of the Match award. Matt Webb chipped in with an important 25 not out as Gold reached a winning 107\/3 with 14 balls to spare.

Harsh Vakil and Jordan Lambis each took three wickets for Gold that helped trim Red\u2019s batting progress in the final. Vakil ended with 3\/10 and Lambis 3\/17. Red\u2019s the main run scoring came from the bats of Dinesh Gaddam (39) and Anirudh Basu (28).<\/p>\n
