{"id":7671,"date":"2015-06-22T15:55:28","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T19:25:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.canadacricket.com\/?p=7671"},"modified":"2015-06-22T17:30:50","modified_gmt":"2015-06-22T21:00:50","slug":"icc-announce-trails-for-americas-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canadacricket.com\/?p=7671","title":{"rendered":"ICC announce trials for Americas team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced that a cricket Combine will take place in Indianapolis, USA, in September to select an ICC Americas representative team.<\/p>\n<p>This team will play in the West Indies Cricket Board\u2019s (WICB) Nagico Super 50 tournament during January 2016, with an opportunity for the best performing players to then trial for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).<\/p>\n<p>The Combine will have two phases, with Phase 1 being an open trial. All eligible players* in the Americas region can apply online by clicking\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iccamericas.com\/cricketcombine%3Chttp:\/www.iccamericas.com\/cricketcombine\">here<\/a>\u00a0for the opportunity to be selected to attend the trial that will take place at the World Sports Park in Indianapolis from\u00a018 to 21 September.<\/p>\n<p>The best players from Phase 1 will then be invited to attend Phase 2 of the Combine from\u00a024 to 27 September, after which the ICC Americas team will be selected.
