He picked up 4 wickets for 20 with\u00a0left-arm spin bowling when Masters beat Cricket Club of Canada.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hiral Patel is the captain of Malton Masters this season. Toronto CC struck 268, including 98<br \/>\nfrom Srimantha Wijeyeratne and 36 from Shaheed Keshvani (both in Canada\u2019s squad), in<br \/>\nMasters first game of the season on June 6. Hiral Patel hit 113* as Masters charged to 271\/4<br \/>\nfrom 38.2 overs. Ruvindu Gunasekera, another in Canada\u2019s squad in Scotland, helped start the<br \/>\ncharge with 35.<br \/>\nMalton Masters scored 253\/9 from 50 overs on June 7 then bowled out Cricket Club of Canada<br \/>\nfor 105 after 29.4 overs. Hiral Patel took 4\/20 after scoring 31 at the top of Masters innings.<br \/>\nMasters managed to avoid rain and wet weather conditions again on June 21. Hiral Patel\u2019s 115<br \/>\nwas the cornerstone of Masters 230 all out from 47.2 overs against Islanders. Jeremy Gordon<br \/>\npicked up 3\/9 as Islanders stumbled to 67 all out from 26.2 overs.<br \/>\nMasters were showing as the only team in the Elite Division of the Toronto District without a no<br \/>\nresult game this morning. A situation that will change once whatever \u2018missing information\u2019 is<br \/>\nadded to a game abandoned due to rain and wet conditions last weekend before there was any<br \/>\ndanger of a toss taking place.<br \/>\nSo best wishes to Hiral Patel and the rest of the Canadian tour party, now in Scotland, for the<br \/>\nICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and best wishes to Nikhil Dutta in the Caribbean Premier<br \/>\nLeague.
